Timeless Light, Timeful Garden

New morning light
Green and glimmering leaves
Awash in radiance
Translucent windows to Eternity.

In the early summer light
Tiny yellow blossoms,
Dropping off to reveal
A green bud growing larger
Then ripening to red
In the late summer light.

The temporal sun birthing timeless light
Massless photons warming Mother Earth
In Perpetual Now*
To nurture the becoming and perishing
Of Passing Now†

* According to Einstein's General Relativity, the time experienced by an object slows as the speed of the object approaches the speed of light in a vacuum. Therefore at the speed of light, time stops.

† Time passes as a serious of events that become and then perish, where Now is that infinitesimal instant when an event ceases to become and begins to perish.
